Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before using this website.
Under the following Terms and Conditions, we refer to ourselves (Career Care International Limited, trading as Career Care NZ) as "Company", "we", "us" or "our". The customer or client will be referred to as "you" or "your". All users of this website (or site) agree that access to & the use of this website (including the purchase of any of our products/services) are subject to the following Terms and Conditions and other applicable law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this website.
We reserve the right to stop our service at any time to any user for any reason. Any order placed with us can be declined by us at our sole discretion. We cannot guarantee and do not promise any specific results from the use of our products or services. Our primary objective is to help our clients get effective CVs, LinkedIn profiles and other career documents. We deal with all our clients with transparency and honesty, however, we cannot guarantee their success as it may depend on different factors such as their knowledge, skills, attitude, experience, etc.
The turnaround times listed on this website rely on you submitting all the information requested by us that is required for us to finish our work. E.g. Information requested by us about your career accomplishments, professional strengths, employment gaps, etc. All work will be completed in a timely manner subject to natural hazards, equipment malfunction, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We cannot accept any liability for missed deadlines, delayed deliveries or slow turnaround times. No refunds will be given in case of delayed deliveries of products/services, slow turnaround times or missed deadlines.
We offer multiple revisions at no additional charge if you are not satisfied with the documents (CV, cover letter, LinkedIn, etc) we create for you. Revision means making changes to the original documents created by us and DO NOT include creating different versions of your documents, such as different CVs or cover letters to target different roles. Creating different versions of your documents will involve an additional cost - a quote will be provided upon request. Our 14-day unlimited revisions policy applies only to the first drafts of the documents delivered to you. The 14-day count starts from the day the first drafts have been delivered to you. If you do not request a revision within 14 days of receiving the first drafts, your order will be considered completed and closed on our system. When requesting a revision, you must advise us of your requirements in writing as specifically as possible. We will endeavour to complete any document revisions requested within two business days of the request.
Document Delivery Formats
We will generally deliver your documents via email in Word format. You can also request a PDF version if needed. We cannot be held liable for any document format incompatibility issues with your individual computer set-up. While we will endeavour to assist you as best as possible in resolving any such issues, please note that IT support is out of our field of expertise. In the event that we are unable to agree upon a resolution, the client will need to seek appropriate professional IT support at their expense.
Occasionally, your personal preference with regard to your new documents such as document design or layout may differ from the preference of your assigned writer or consultant, who will be an experienced career professional with a background in either HR, recruitment, or career consulting. Your assigned writer will complete your documents to a high professional standard using the most appropriate format, design, layout, and style based on your professional background, career level, and the current industry standards. No refunds will be provided in case your personal preference regarding your new documents does not match the preference of your assigned writer or consultant.
The Free Stuff
We may offer free stuff such as free job search guides to our clients and at any time, we may stop offering these (or offer these at a certain price) at our sole discretion without any prior notice.
We reserve the right to change the price of our products and services listed on this website at any time without any prior notice. All prices listed on this website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Furthermore, we shall change, modify, add or remove any portion of our Terms and Conditions in whole or in part, at any time without your consent. These changes will be effective as soon as they are published on this website.
In case a product or service of ours is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product or service listed at the incorrect price. If your bank account or credit card is charged for any such purchase, we will issue a refund to your bank account or credit card as soon as we can.
Complaints and Disputes
We will deal with you fairly and reasonably to resolve any complaints or disputes in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act and other appropriate New Zealand laws. All complaints must be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will endeavour to respond to all complaints as quickly as possible. If we are unable to resolve a complaint to your satisfaction, we welcome complaint or dispute resolution from a mutually agreed independent third party.
Any dispute between Career Care International Limited and its client(s) or any individual or organisation acting on behalf of the client(s) regarding the subject matter of these Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of New Zealand, without giving effect to any conflict of laws principles that may provide for the application of the law of another jurisdiction. Any action or proceeding brought by Career Care International Limited or its client(s) in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be heard and determined only in the courts located in New Zealand.
Occasionally, we may make a mistake in our work as a result of human error. In the unlikely event that an error occurs on our part, please let us know about this and we will do our best to rectify the error as quickly as possible. No refunds will be given if we make a mistake(s) in our work as a result of human error.
Inaccurate or Incomplete Information
It is your responsibility to provide all information accurately while placing orders and when requested by us in order for us to complete our work. This includes, but is not limited to, your payment details, personal details (name, email address, LinkedIn information, etc), information about your career such as work history, career accomplishments, professional skills, employment gaps, etc. Career Care International Limited cannot be held responsible for any delays, damage or loss (including direct or indirect) caused to you as a result of you providing incomplete or inaccurate information to us. Furthermore, Career Care International Limited cannot be liable to you or any third party (except when required by law) for any inaccurate content posted on this website. All the data posted on this website is for general purposes only. It should not be trusted or used as the main source for making conclusions without checking with the basic, more precise, more comprehensive or timelier information sources.
There is no trial or grace period once you purchase any document writing services such as CV writing or LinkedIn profile writing from us. We spend a lot of time reviewing, rewriting, revamping, proofreading & revising your CV, LinkedIn profile, cover letter, etc. Once we receive your payment, we commence our work and we are unable to offer refunds due to the nature of our work. That said, we will always endeavour to work with you to ensure that you are entirely happy with your purchase. For e-books & e-guides, we will refund you in case of change of mind, however, no refunds will be provided once an e-book or e-guide ordered by you has been delivered to you i.e. electronically sent to you by us via the internet. We reserve the right to deduct up to $50 administrative fees from the refund (related to e-book or e-guide purchase only) in case of change of mind, even if the e-book or e-guide you ordered has not been delivered to you by us. The amount we deduct will depend on the amount of time spent by us on working on your e-book or e-guide purchase order.

By entering this site, you will be assuming all risks associated with the use of this site, including the risk of your computer, software or data being damaged by any virus which might be transmitted or activated via this site or your access to it. We recommend that users of this site run an anti-virus program on all material downloaded from this site. We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system, which may occur while using material from this site.
Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL CAREER CARE INTERNATIONAL LIMITED BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES, EVEN IF COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY CONTAINED IN THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, COMPANY'S LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING DEATH, PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA AND EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), AND REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE ACTION, WILL AT ALL TIMES BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID, IF ANY, BY YOU TO COMPANY FOR ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES ORDERED TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE DATE THE CAUSE OF ACTION AROSE.
