Under the following Terms and Conditions, we refer to ourselves (Career Care NZ) as "we" or "us". The customer or client will be referred to as "you". All users of this website (or site) agree that access to as well as use of this website (including any purchase of our products/services) are subject to the following terms & conditions and other applicable law. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this website.
We are an online personal branding and professional CV writing business, and we do not guarantee job offers or job interviews to our clients. Our primary objective is to help our clients get effective and superior quality CVs, LinkedIn profiles and other career documents.
We are unable to provide our internal tools or software access to our clients – these tools are for internal business use only.
The turnaround times listed on this website rely on you submitting all the information requested by us that is required for us to finish our work. E.g. Information requested by us about your career accomplishments, professional strengths, employment gaps, etc.
In case you are not satisfied with the documents we create for you (CV, cover letter, LinkedIn, etc), we will revise/rewrite them at no additional charge. For CVs, cover letters & LinkedIn profiles, revision means if you are not satisfied with a draft prepared by us, we will revise/rewrite/edit it without a charge. You must request a revision in writing within 14 days of receiving the draft version of your documents.
When you request a revision, you must advise us of your requirements as specifically as possible. We will only revise the original version of the documents sent by us to our clients. We are unable to revise/rewrite/edit any document that is altered, changed or modified by the client in any way whatsoever.
The Free Stuff
We may offer free stuff including free job search guides to our clients and at any time, we may stop offering these (or offer these at a certain price) at our sole discretion without any prior notice.
We reserve the right to change the price of our products and services listed on this website at any time without any prior notice. All prices listed on this website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). We shall change, modify, add or remove any portion of our terms & conditions in whole or in part, at any time without your consent. These changes will be effective as soon as they are published on this website.
In case a service of ours is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the service listed at the incorrect price. If your bank account or credit card is charged for any purchase in such an event, we will issue a refund to your bank account or credit card as soon as possible.
Complaints and Disputes
We will deal with you fairly and reasonably to resolve any complaints or disputes in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act and other appropriate New Zealand laws. All complaints must be made in writing to email@example.com. We will endeavour to respond to all complaints as quickly as possible. If we are unable to resolve a complaint to your satisfaction, we welcome complaint or dispute resolution from a mutually agreed independent third party.
Occasionally, we may make a mistake in our work as a result of human error. In the unlikely event that an error occurs on our part, please let us know about this and we will do our best to rectify it at the highest priority.
Natural or Man-made Disaster
We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage caused to you whether directly or indirectly arising from or in connection with any natural or man-made disaster including fire, flood, earthquake, war, government intervention, transport strikes, accidents and anything else beyond our reasonable control.
It is your responsibility to provide all information accurately (such as name, email address, payment details) while placing orders or making enquiries with us. We cannot be held responsible for any delays, damage or loss (including direct or indirect) caused to you as a result of you providing incorrect or inaccurate information to us.
We spend a lot of time rewriting, revamping, proofreading and revising your career documents. Once we receive your payment, we commence our work and we are unable to offer refunds due to the nature of our work. That said, we will always endeavour to work with you to ensure that you are entirely happy with your purchase.
